A MESSAGE FROM MRS. FESTANTE
WELCOME TO CALVIN COOLIDGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
We are excited to begin a new year and would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new Hillside families. We are looking forward to a great year !
Our goal is to provide opportunities for all students to develop physically, emotionally, and educationally.
We are proud of the quality of education Calvin Coolidge students receive and realize that success is in large part due to the support of the parents and the community. The school recognizes its position in the partnership it enjoys with the families it serves.
All learning does not take place within the confines of the schoolhouse doors. Indeed, the school stands second to home as the place excercising the greatest influence on what kind of person the child is now and will become.
Therefore, it is through the demonstration of mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation between the school and home that our children can effectively learn and grow.
Again, we are looking forward to a wonderful school year and to working closely with you to ensure the success of our students.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
To protect our students and staff, we ask that all Calvin Coolidge Elementary School parents, guests, and visitors use the following procedures:
Go to the office, present a driver's license or a form of identification, and obtain a pass BEFORE visiting halls or classrooms.
Enter and exit the school only by the front doors.
Please note that the outside doors will be locked at all times during the school day after the tardy bell rings each
morning. Students and staff can exit through all outside doors, but entry will not be possible.
We realize that these security procedures may be inconvenient for parents and staff. However, it is necessary for us to take special precautions to protect our children.
Thank you for your continued support !
Sincerely,
Sharon Ann Festante
Principal
